That’s when the Cincinnati-based supermarket giant posts first-quarter earnings. Analysts expect Kroger (NYSE: KR) profits to rise 13 percent in reaching 88 cents, according to a Thomson Reuters compilation of estimates. It netted 78 cents in the year-ago quarter.
